Graduates Leave With More Than a License
"I just graduated and would absolutely recommend SMI to anyone looking for a school in the Peoria area. I loved that the school was smaller, so it was much easier to grow relationships and practice as much as possible before graduating."

What Would You Like to Know Before You Start?
From your first question to your next step, find the details you need to get started.
The Aesthetics Program is 600 hours. The full-time day schedule takes about 4 to 5 months, and the part-time evening schedule takes about 8 to 9 months. A part-time day schedule also launches in January 2027.
You can start as a complete beginner, since training begins with the fundamentals of skin science before moving into hands-on client work. To enroll, you need to be at least 17, hold a high school diploma or GED, and complete an admissions interview.
Qualifying students can use SMI's 0% interest in-house payment plan, which starts with $1,000 down with the remaining balance financed over the length of the program. Partner financing is also available to eligible students.
Beyond payment plans and financing, eligible students may be able to apply scholarships, WIOA, 529 Plans, Military Special Forces Support, or Vocational Rehabilitation assistance toward tuition. Admissions can help you see which options apply to your situation.
Expect a text or call from an admissions advisor within one business day. The admissions team will answer your questions and can help you book a campus tour, which comes with a complimentary facial for prospective Aesthetics students.
